Common side effects of hydralazine include but are not limited to:

• Headaches.

• Nausea or vomiting.
• Loss of appetite.
• Diarrhea.

Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of hydralazine:

• Fast or pounding heartbeats.
• Chest pain or pressure or a pain that spreads to your jaw or shoulder.
• Numbness or tingling.
• Little, no, painful or difficult urination.
• Feeling lightheaded or like you might pass out.
• Burning pain in the hands or feet.
• Signs of lupus-like-syndrome including chest pain, joint pain, fever with swelling, swollen glands, muscle aches, vomiting, patchy skin color, or unusual thoughts or behavior.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling in your face, lips, or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of hydralazine?

If you miss a dose of hydralazine, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
