Dymista Nasal Spray is a combination medication that contains azelastine and fluticasone. This medication works by reducing the effects of the substances in your body that cause allergy symptoms.

• Shake Dymista Nasal Spray gently before using it.
• Gently blow your nose before using this medication nasally.
• Test this medication by spraying this medication into the air when not used in a while.
• It can take several days to feel the full effect of this medication.
• If this medication gets into your eyes, rinse with water for ten minutes.

Tell your doctor and pharmacist:

• About your drug and other allergies.
• If you take any other prescription or over-the-counter medications.
• Your medical history particularly of chickenpox, measles, tuberculosis, herpes infection of the eyes, any other infection, glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, nose ulcers, nose sores or any other nose injury.
• If you have had nose surgery.
• If you are pregnant or planning pregnancy.
• If you are breast-feeding. This medication can cause breast milk to taste bitter. Watch out for signs that your baby is not nursing as well as previously.

• Nosebleeds
• Altered sense of smell
• Headaches

Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of Dymista Nasal Spray:

• Severe or persistent nosebleeds
• Noisy breathing
• Runny nose or crusting around the nostrils
• Severe drowsiness
• Fever, chills, body aches or tiredness
• White patches, sores or redness in the mouth or throat
• Any wound that does not heal
• Eye pain or vision changes including blurred vision, tunnel vision and seeing halos around lights
• Signs of low adrenal gland hormones including nausea, vomiting, tiredness, weakness or lightheadedness
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives or swelling in your face, lips or throat

What should I do if I miss a dose of Dymista Nasal Spray?

If you miss a dose of Dymista Nasal Spray, you should use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
