• Exelon Oral Solution should be taken with food.
• Measure medication carefully using the provided dosing syringe or a medicine dosing device.
• Exelon Oral Solution can be swallowed directly or mixed with a small glass of water, soda, or fruit juice. If mixed, drink within four hours and rinse the glass with water and drink again.
• It is typically prescribed to be taken twice a day.
• This medication is most effective when taken regularly.
• If you miss your dose for three or more consecutive days, speak to your doctor before taking this medication again.

• Seizures.
• Tremors or restless muscle movements.
• Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea.
• Weight loss or loss of appetite.
• Painful or difficult urination.
• Severe skin irritation, redness, or itching.
• Bloody or tarry stools.
• Coughing with mucus.
• Vomit that looks like coffee grounds.
• Feeling lightheaded or like you might pass out.
• Signs of dehydration including heavy sweating, hot and dry skin, inability to urinate, severe thirst, or feeling hot.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling in your face, lips, or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Exelon Oral Solution?

If you miss a dose of Exelon Oral Solution, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose. Speak to your doctor if you miss three consecutive doses.
