• This medication should not be taken by anyone younger than 12 years old.

Common side effects of Gabitril include but are not limited to:

• Dizziness.
• Shaking or nervousness.
• Tiredness.
• Diarrhea.
• Stomach pain.

Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of tiagabine.

• A seizure that does not stop.
• Mental or mood problems such as depression.
• Weakness.
• Difficulty concentrating, speaking or paying attention.
• Thoughts about suicide or harming yourself.
• Confusion.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives or swelling in your face, lips or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Gabitril?

If you miss a dose of Gabitril, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
