What is Nasonex Nasal Spray?

Nasonex Nasal Spray (mometasone) is used to treat symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergies including sneezing, runny nose and congestion. Nasonex may also be used to treat nasal polyps. Mometasone is a steroid which prevents the release of substances in the body which can cause inflammation.

• White patches in your nose or mouth.
• Painful or trouble swallowing.
• Side effects of too much corticosteroid such as unusual or extreme tiredness, weight loss, headache, swelling of the ankles or feet, vision problems or increased thirst or urination.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives or swelling in your face, lips or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Nasonex Nasal Spray?

If you miss a dose of Nasonex Nasal Spray, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
