• This medication does not prevent your disease from spreading. Avoid unprotected sex or share razors, toothbrushes, or needles.

• Headaches
• Sleep problems
• Nausea
• Anemia

Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of sofosbuvir:

• Dark urine or clay-colored stools
• Jaundice
• Pain in the upper-right side of the stomach
• Vomiting or loss of appetite
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling in your face, lips, or throat

• If you take sofosbuvir and the heart rhythm medication amiodarone, speak to your doctor if you experience any of the following:

• Chest pain or slow heartbeats
• Shortness of breath
• Feeling lightheaded, like you might pass out, weak or tired
• Confusion or memory problems

What should I do if I miss a dose of Sofosbuvir?

If you miss a dose of Sofosbuvir, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
